Welcome to the Laboratory of Molecular and Biochemical Pharmacology (LFBM). Our group focuses on the pharmacological characterization of synthetic and natural compounds, with a particular emphasis on research related to neurodegenerative diseases. We conduct behavioral, biochemical, and molecular analyses to evaluate these compounds' effects. Additionally, our team actively explores pharmacogenetics as another key area of research.

Located in the Department of Pharmacology at the Institute of Biological Sciences (ICB) at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), we collaborate extensively with researchers from several institutions in Brazil and abroad.
